  1. I was hoping you would try TUK TAPE. That adhesive is so strong that it almost removes your fingerprints off of your fingers. I does not have the same strength as Gorilla tape or those with a fabric backing as it is closer to Packing tape (clear plastic Scotch tape) However, it beats the rest for STICKING AND IS IMPERMIABLE . So would hold up to the underwater tests= NO PROBLEM be it Red or Green. Check it out. At Home Depot or any other Building supply store. There is a white brand that is not "TUK TAPE" so lower class of glue. Hot or cold or wet the finger tips, the tape still stuck like crazy. As I would wet my fingers thinking the tape would not stick so hard...it did not make a difference. This could hold the ceramic tiles on the Shuttle. Space Age adhesive. As for leaving residue behind...this tape will take off the painted surface leaving nothing behind. So nasty. Not the narrow stuff. Get the2 or 3 inch wide roll that is used in construction. The stuff the width of Scotch tape, I don't think it is the same stuff.
