  1. I remember ATF added to motor oil to rejuvenate the rubber rear seal on the crankshaft was the story going around. Nothing about cleaning up the carbon. Just give it a long hard drive uphill in both directions, same motor oil than you normally use.. When you said ATF has mineral oil in it?, you can get mineral oil from the local drug store. It is taken for constipation...so can be mixed with water. Used as a lubricant in an engine? I don't think it goes with gasoline.
