  9. I am sorry. You can't butcher my name worse than the Library machine that phones you to let you know your book is available. That one was terrible. Good thing I know about 6 different pronunciations for my name. Some don't even try. I have seen harder German/Polish names I cannot pronounce in my family that will BURN THE MACHINE out.

  10. That is what "sappers" are for and maybe aerial drones to find the metal. The land is STILL THE LAND. It is only barren because it is heading into WINTER. In the SPRING, sunflowers will grow and bloom out of soldiers pockets just as they have for a million years. Mines get found once. Lead is not a mineral needed by most plants so they do not suck it up. Nor asbestos. So it just lays there ignored by the greenery. Every farmer knows that.
