  1. Europe don't need U.S. weapons. The British, the French have their own jets and bombs. So does Sweden & Finland. Germany had stuff, but has been a pacifist nation since WW2 so those factories have closed down. But they do have automobile factories...VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes so the retooling can happen.
