  1. It won't hurt them any as dung is disease free as it has been through stomach acids and is basically fermented straw. The only real benefit is laying in the sun and absorbing Vitamin D. Now, had they used pig dung, (which is close to human dung on an eye watering dump....that will drive any virus away.
