  1. You did have a spare tire under the car you could have swapped it with. That way that tire gets used and your patch one can sit underneath until it is needed. Should it leak over the course of a year or 2 then the patch did not hold. Or they will have forgotten who you were.

  2. Then again, there is the inner tube option(I had that on bias ply tires when bias ply was available - just supposing it would work for radial tires?Not knowing for sure.

  3. FWD is fronts get new(actually they want all 4 tires replaced) I don't have to buy Michelins. I can buy "Sunny" tires made in China...as they are 1/3 the cost.
