We can tell this is old theories. At the Giza plateau is the LAST 3 PYRAMIDS constructed by the Egyptians. There is over 100 pyramids in Egypt, the first being the STEP PYRAMID which still exists 100 miles to the south of Giza. It is the most primitive. Each time they built a pyramid they got better at it (most of the time) Some did not use stone and built from mud brick. They do have rain so the mud ones did not last long. The Red Pyramid was made of Red Granite & is a perfect pyramid, smaller than the Great Pyramid on Giza. As for burying the Pharaohs in them, they did find a filled in shaft under the step pyramid that went down 100feet and in there they found 2 rooms carved out of the Limestone. This is where they figured the Pharaoh was laid(of course it was robbed in Ancient times) If Pharaohs were under the pyramids then they have not found them yet...so maybe because they knew they will be disturbed...the Pharaohs were buried elsewhere. These Egyptians were barely out of the stone age - their hardest tool was like bronze as it was copper and arsenic...naturally occurring. They generally were of the "Copper Age" (because Egypt did not have Tin to mix with the molten copper to make Bronze. They had pure copper and arsenic which made the copper near to bronze in hardness.) How they cut the granite is debated today as no one knows. It took them about 10 years to build a pyramid. The pyramid phase lasted about 125 years then it was OVER. . With this they talk about the Aztecs WITHOUT MENTIONING THE MAYA that preceded them for several thousand years. Most of these structure are from the Maya civilization. Again huge stone blocks fitted tightly together so they do not fall apart in an earthquake. Machu Pichu was built by the Maya.
