I read about King Tut's tomb. What the deal was while they were working on his tomb, he died by having a Hippo bride and she rolled on top(so he died prematurely. His tomb was not ready. They wanted to get him buried because the FLIES WERE GETTING THICK so they put him in a finished tomb of a noble. The Pharaohs tomb would have been higher up in the walls of the valley. The noble would be in the valley but buried at a lower spot.. Every spring the rains come and like a dirty river go down through the valleys. Because King Tut was a short lived king he did very little so not much is written about him. Then the fact he got stuffed into a Lower tomb which may have had the rains for a couple of seasons, and Tut's tomb was in a corner ov the valley; after the first rain storm the silt and sand would have covered over the entrance and it may have been underwater for awhile so its location was lost. Tomb raiders could not find the entrance as it was filled with sand mud and silt.. Besides, anyone buried down low was not a pharaoh, so not worth digging for.. If all the stuff in his tomb was from the Armana age, then it is tainted gold. It would not be much for a short lived ruler. . So what was found in Tut's tomb was alot for a rule of 10 years...,Imagine what was in Ramses II who lived until he was 97 He ruled for over 60 years.

The Priests were living in Reality. The Pharaoh was "tripping out" with all the power and wealth. Priests knew once dead, you ain't coming back. Priests don't have to believe in their religion. Akenaken saw that the priests were getting too powerful, they challenged the pharaoh. He was right.
