The "red" in red lipstick came from a certain beetle or ants which when crushed bled in red. So many bugs were crushed to make red lipstick. (a painter knows where some colorants come from) That is the rich red color the blond chick has on.=dead bugs . I worked in house construction in 60-80's and asbestos was in drywall mud especially the grey coat....which does not become a fine dust until they sand the walls smooth before painting. I swept the dust off the walls with a broom and then collected the dust in a dustpan and dumped it out of the house without a mask. Sure, I find out about the asbestos in the mud in the 90's. By this time I am no longer working in that field and the mud changed to the redi-mixed white coat...so the asbestos is gone. I snorted up my fill and so did those guys who boarded the houses and taped and mudded it. Thousands of homes in my area. So it was in millions of homes. . I also dealt with the tail end of lead paint having white lead for making oil paint whiter. The paste was kind of like hand cream. . Latex paint also has mercury in it(a fungicide or mold killer) such a tiny amount that most of the times mold would grow in the paint in a partly used can of paint left for a couple of weeks. Such was early water based paints.
