Demined by robots & drones...so, that COW gave up its life taking out a mine is forgotten already? You just KNOW farmers are going to find many mines with their farm equipment.

They also made "maps" so finding the mines would not be hard.

One thing that can't get destroyed is dirt. It just had a deep plowing.

Soviet times ended in 1991. 24 August 1991. The Act reestablished Ukraine's state independence. So 32 years ago. He is not smart enough for computer technology so he stuck it out with farming. He did not have to kill off the natives to acquire the land like in N.A. Chances are good as Ukraine was breaking away to become its own country, his dad saw it fit to acquire the land. Usually it is a hand me down and it stays in the family. Chances are good several families work the land.

For us village people, say width. We understand that width means from the side you are viewing from. Width x length. Depth in the soil means digging downward. We are not military minded. So in the Military "what is into the earth" (as they were using a backhoe digging down?) . Obviously the English language has SHORTCOMINGS. It needs a new word. I mean, depth means deep when on the water, so you are looking DOWN. I am not an English professor ...just an average guy, out of school a long time and see English is F.Up.

The reason being is that Poland has an agricultural industry too and Ukrainian grain is cheaper to produce, so they were selling their product in Poland cheaper than Poles could becuz they pay taxes and Ukraine does not. So that is irritating. Normally Ukraine would be selling its grain to African markets. But there is always going to be someone not following the rules and in it for the quick buck if they sell it to Poland markets which screws with the Polish agricultural market. It was never meant for the Polish or Slovakia countries as they too export grain. Ukraine was shipping some grain out of Odesa into the Black sea.
