  1. Who needs who? The U.S. needs China. The U.S. relies on Consummerism...people spending money. If jobs came back to the U.S. the prices would go up...on the goods hurting the consumers. Consummerism is not as great in China. People are used to having less. In the U.S. they would complain. . If China was so far behind the U.S. in tech. knowledge, why is China offering "5G" technology. The U.S. has the slower 4G tech. (So China does invent stuff.) . In order for Trump to stop China, he would have to get ALL CONSUMERS TO STOP BUYING stuff. That will go over real good as U.S. citizens deprive themselves of what they want. That will not happen because Trump has no control over what people do in a "Free Country" . Free press does not exist in the U.S. Turnip claims the economy is doing great! No different claim than Xi. That claim is just as fake as the unemployment rate graph in China.(which may also be fake or true). . Trump knows leverage? No, he knows how to SHAFT contractors out of their money owed to them by not paying them. It ends up in court....(before in the end Donnie has to pay...as he loses most of the cases.) . I look around in my house and nothing is made in the U.S. and almost nothing is made in China (except for electronic components) . So long as you have MAGA hats you got stuff from China. . Much of the stuff invented WAS NOT INVENTED IN THE U.S. They are "PATENTED" in the U.S. and then "manufactured" in the U.S. because most of the consumers are in the U.S., The U.S. is the greatest thief when it comes to technology, claiming it invented everything (when it did nothing of the sort) . . China does not steal American tech. It negotiated deals. In order for you to set up here, we want your tech. That is the lazy man's way of doing anything...saving the time in making the same mistakes that was made before, so a lot of time is saved in learning how to make it "better" by not repeating already tried methods...leading to less waste and time wasted. We as a world society learn faster and advance faster.
