Finding out their age also helps. Over the fence conversation while working in the garden with a Brit. and he was yapping to my mom who was gardening. He pops up with the statement that "he was an undercover SPY during WW2". The guy is 73 (WW2 ended 75 years ago)> so, obviously not to smart in the math department< I guess Mom looks European. She is 86 y.o. She has been to the gates of Auschwitz and her family got the boot out of there by a German guard who saw they were Polish. BACK to the Brit. To be a spy for England he would have to be 18 and speak German then infiltrate Germany to be of any value. Doing the math -2(he was not born yet) & war was over. Then 20 years before that is when he would have to be born(making him 93 if it were true) HE WAS NEVER THERE. Even at 86 with no schooling, HER brain WORKS. "You're full of schit" The old Brit was probably passing off this story about being a spy for England...to get a free meal or something...from other old senile people making himself important.

Weird that the U.S. has so much BIG GOVERNMENT IS WATCHING YOU is not actually recording or watching. I assumed that their databases would be overloaded with names of people that ACTUALLY SERVED. At that time they were a PUBLIC SERVANT as they got paid by tax money, so there is no "Privacy" They gave that up when they served. Besides, who cares about their lives as nobody cares about them. If they served and got a medal on top, yeah, then they brag. They are giving up their privacy of their private life willingly...to get some sort of recognition or benefit. I do believe the judgements made on the privacy grounds is very WEAK. None serving people do not care, but it is the people who DID SERVE that are "only wanting their brother in arms" to be recognized. NOT FAKERS. FAKERS ARE "LOSERS" & trying to score a freebie when they do not deserve it.(especially if the government decides to give something extra to the men& women that served.)
