  1. This guy is not a Historian. He is a short sighted Brit. He IGNORES the fact that Hitler saw the Brits as the other "White race". He saw the bigger picture, not of a reign of a few hundred years(before another nation fought and won wars and took control of Europe for another short span)eg England was in power after the downfall of the Romans and during the Crusades the seat of power was in Britain. Napoleon raised an army and took on and beat Britain and France was the seat of power for Europe. Then in another war between France & Britain, Britain became the Lord of the lands of Europe. Hitler was looking beyond that, beyond a mere few hundred years of control. . Chamberlain was the Prime Minister of Britain at the time & Hitler started to make his proposals to him by sending letters. Hitler saw there was a possibility of the 2 countries unifying as one force with some sort of "co-rulership agreement" where the dynasty could last as long as the Romn had once been(1000yr). As both Germany and England had many historic buildings that should be kept from harm so bombing each other was preferred to be avoided. But as British elections happened, Churchill got in and any idea of co-ruling was nixed by Churchill. Even as Hitler sent more letters about discussions about this idea. . Churchill was a was mongerer. , This possibility of peace with Britain would mean Germany did not have to build a navy to fight on the waters. Britain could rules the seas and Hitlers tanks and artillery could rules the lands...as he had already done so through France. . Britain declared war on Germany FIRST. Then Churchill conned the U.S. to aid in the war effort by also declaring war on Germany FIRST as well. Hitler did not know that much about the U.S. but he figured it too was filled with white folks. The U.S. was staying out of European wars. They did not have to get involved. Officially they were not involved, but they were bringing over food for Britain(so without announcing it, they were aiding Britain.) When Britain declared war on Germany....it was a long flight to Britain to bomb it and return to German airfields. The planes were running on fumes. Tanks don't float. Hitler did not hate the British as he believed the Anglo Saxon whiteness thing. He feared the Communist Russians more as they would overtake Europe.. His spies did not do their job as they gave fabricated reports about the strength of the Soviet forces(way underestimating the size of the army that the Soviets had.) Also about soviet winters - (and that year was especially cold). The soviets were given an incentive to fight, "turn around and run and you will be shot" by the Soviets. Also missing is the fact the the Atom bomb required U235 and the U.S. had 5 pounds of it. They received a shipment from Germany from Submariners who saild East, taking the southern/Eastern route and carried well over 100pounds of U235 FROM GERMANY. Enough to use in the 2 bombs on Japan. I read history books, not links.
