  2. In WW2 Ukraine WAS fighting WITH the Soviets - if anything, Ukraine WAS Russian. So that battle front was the first front the Germans came across in the East; so they had the experience of fighting the Germans. Stalingrad and Leningrad were the cities in Russia that Hitler was trying for(on his way to the Caucus oil fields as Germany needed oil.) As best as I remember. City names change and more oil& natural gas fields is discovered LATER. Google up this stuff if you want to know more.

  7. India does not require NATURAL GAS for heating because of its location(near Equator) so it never really has Winter. China is a large country so most likely it has its own Oil & natural gas.

  8. Yeah, well now Russia knows that Ukraine's weather is just as NASTY. Russia saw it fit to send out their maintenance men in "meat wave attacks". so, no one takes care of the aging plumbing under the city in the Winter?? Someone SMART decided that move. General Winter says "check-mate".

  9. The Russian system of heating=they have a "central boiler block" & everybody gets their hot water from "those Boilers". Like a huge octopus with many arms of heating pipes under city streets going even to the Rich. A break in a pipe it affects any & every building on that route. Unfortunately their plumbers "R part of the MEAT WAVE " attacks. >OOPSY<

  10. Farmers do not complain because in the winter they stay off the fields. Nothing grows in winter...so they fix their tractor & other farm equipment & do the wife & feed the chickens & cows & other livestock. Maybe they can fix their home & barn & fencing & do the neighbor lady.
