Printing lots of money gives you HYPER-INFLATION (history shows that as recent as 1935 in Germany. A loaf of bread costs a dollar. Printing more money means the next day that same loaf of bread now costs $10 , the next day $1000, the next day $10,000. Wages were also trying to keep up, so your wage for the day went up as well. Meanwhile in say 2 weeks you need a wheelbarrow full of money to buy that same loaf of bread or $ 500,000,000. The value of the money was not worth the cost of the paper it is written on.
