When I drag a heavy object on the ground I rely on the ground gravel to roll along. A round log is in fact a wheel. Try it sometimes.

Hell; learn how to make rope from grasses is the real trick.

Still don't know. I am guessing Tsunami. The guys cut the rocks and waited for the Wave to wash it up inland. Then they just had to make them pretty and arranged...as they slid in the mud. Wheel was never needed. Logs crush. You can't say there was religion behind it as there are no written records, so they did not talk to each other. Definitely not worried about ET as all they can do is move rock around. . As for worms, they consume plant matter such as rotting roots - they don't eat dirt. . I know where to look for worms for I go fishing...under rotting logs. Not under rocks. Maybe the odd spider but that is all. Maybe ants. If the stones are sinking, that would be due to ground compaction of the stones weight combined with the moon's gravity when it is on the other side of the planet pulling on the standing stones making them heavier. The odd earthquake helps to compact the ground even faster. Pigeons landing on top of the stones is an additional weight. You could have got all these common sense answers out of studying the orbit of Uranus.
