  1. A fathom is not a speed(that is depth) You are thinking of knots...which is different than land speed (MPH) or (KPH), In the air(if you are flying...its fast enough becuz I don't CARE) That is what GOOGLE is for.

  2. Jet fuel is kerosene. Very unlikely it will explode. It is barely flammable as diesel isn't explosive. All jet fuel is kerosene as it does not jell when it gets cold(flying high in the sky, it is cold like on high mountain tops have snow 365 days/year. So that is the properties of kerosene. It is basically light oil. . Sodium cyanide properties I do not know. It sounds like a poison. Google it. I won't. This is boring. I am gone
