Have any modern hunters put on the horns as a disguise to see if they can walk up to say wild reindeer, elk or other horned animal? To see if it fools them enough to get close enough with a spear to hunt them on foot? Maybe that is ALL THEY were used for? Just how smart are animals? We are seeing & putting too much into it when we say maybe for "religious purposes"
