  1. Blame the guy who owned a backhoe and dug the trench. Quick & easy, like laying sewer lines. AND he wasn't drunk. This dirt has more friction than the clay ground(which is like greased lightning) in WW1 trenches. The mud won't slurry or turn into slop like clay does. The water at the bottom MAY BE where the clay starts.

  4. Read your HISTORY books again. Germany went into Russia...with Tiger tanks. The USSR got half of Germany AFTER THE WAR WAS OVER. Russia then built the IRON CURTAIN a wall that stood for 33 years cutting Germany in 2. This was part of the agreement reached between the ALLIES. Russia NEVER occupied Germany during the war. It is in ALL THE HISTORY BOOKS.(encyclopedias)

  5. I find that strange. Canada gave up its 4(or 8?) Tiger tanks(or was it Leopard 1?) as they were heading for the military's firing RANGE to be shot at(in otherwords garbage). But didn't quite make it there before they were recalled into action. A little paint, some grease and tune the diesel motor and load them on a jet & sent them over to Ukraine(as Germany did allow that? . Little known fact is that "Mean Mr. Mustache" FEARED Russia more than he hated Jews. Even he would say that Russia feared Germany and what kind of war that would be in 1943. Germany would be a "Witch" to beat by the Russians, during the Stalin years. @alongfortheride9345

  6. Germany should have seen this time it is different.(as almost the entire world is against this aggressiveness of Russia. Aid from countries like Australia & New Zealand & SPAIN & SWISS.(Aus & NZ are NOT NATO members.) This war is different from WW2. Hitler just wanted back the borders it won through battles in WW1. It was not interested in Britain or the U.S.. It got back at France for the Napoleonic wars.(which was the battle b4) so a titt for tat. Or a European conflict as G.B. dominated the seas so it considered itself to be the world power at that time.

  8. I had family on both sides of the IRON CURTAIN. The WEST is financially stable but the EAST...it seems they are meant to take the brunt of being poor and destitute. They were "poor pigs" & is the ghetto of Russia. In "no way were they ever" "FORMER FRIENDS" Even though unification of Germany happened in 1990(as it had been part of the Soviet Union for 33 years) family members did not know the other person as their language changed or they are dead. East Germany is like the poor district of Germany. The former GDR only hates Russians.

  10. When Russia was fighting Germany, the Ukrainians were the MECHANICS. Ukraine built the Moskva The dry dock that got bombed so Ukraine got 1 submarine was built by Poland, Same for sub. and the boat in the dock at the same time. Servicing is all they do....so a couple of weeks, maybe.
