(1 Liter-35oz) every 1200 MILES-1900km OR 1U.S. quart(32oz) every 1000 miles [I just rounded it to what guys know in the same LANGUAGE OF MEASUREMENT. So, if you change oil every 3000 miles you would have burnt 3 quarts by that time. THAT CAR SHOULD BE IN THE JUNKYARD. There would be such a big cloud of blue smoke out the tailpipe you would not see the car behind you. That is old SMOKEY. Or a Mexican high performance Hi-bred piece of junk. . My 1980 VW Rabbit barely burnt that and I had a Million miles on the odometer.(yes I kept records I also did oil changes.) Not high test synthetic oil. Just cheap oil of the right viscosity for a VW. The car ran, so the compression was good. 400psi Diesel engine. Diesels need that compression to RUN. A lower compression and it won't fire up. Fuel economy was 61MPG US . On my older (1973) gas car air cooled VW, I did not consume ANY OIL worth mentioning between oil changes. No oil filter, just an oil screen.(mileage on odometer was about 300,000) . The recommended amounts by VW is extreme as you would be burning so much oil, you can smell it as well as see it. I don't use less than recommended for my car (30W30 or 20W20(winter it snows and freezes) Not a problem. Fuel economy was 31MPG US You pictures did not show much in Carbon. Just gas varnish( the yellow color) Most of the carbon would be on the exhaust valve stem. Seen a thick collar on the valve stem of farm vehicles that sit idling or running short cold hops. Must have been 30 years worth. Farm truck still ran. Had to be wire wheel cleaned. Nothing you can do about it...if that is the way you use the equipment=that is the result.
