Prisoner exchanges happen maybe 1ce every 2 weeks or once a month because they have to negotiate the timing with the RUSSIANS in command.(who decide that they need more soldiers at the front line so will BARTER for those guys. Dead commanders are worth NOTHING. WAGNER'S ARE WORTH NOTHING even if they were "just" following commands. Ukraine is not a wealthy country, so having these guys get FED FOR FREE & do nothing else ain't gonna happen. They will always be considered Russians aka the enemy. A Russian jet pilot or tank commander is worth more than a dumb GRUNT. Russia sees those as MOST VALUABLE as no training required to put them back in another machine. Or they ARE Ukrainians, they just picked to work for the other side....so bad choice by them. . Brainwashing happens on both sides, you can bet on it.

  5. If YOU were in a fight with the neighbor kid, would you tell him not to hit you in the leg or arm cause they are sore? No, you keep on fighting and grit your teeth when you get hit there again(without letting him know that is your weak spot) In other words the tally does not come in UNTIL THE BATTLE IS OVER. As both sides know propaganda(essentially lying) you need a 3rd party to do the count for both sides. What we know is Ukrainian estimates about the number of Russians killed. As far as Putin knows, he has not lost any men...that is the Russian tally. We will never know.

  7. Remember in the beginning? It was a "special operation" that was to take 3 days. The Russians got a bunch of guys and did not tell them where they were going. "Now go out and fight." They did not know they were in Ukraine. It could have just been war game exercises. They can't read (especially Ukrainian language on road signs as it is different than Russian. One farmland looks identical to another farmland - same dirt & same water & same air. No obvious differences. . I believe the Ukrainians knew that was happening from the prisoners they did capture alive and question...they all had the same story. Then it was backed up by Putler saying something similar. Which is why many Russian males(maybe whole family) took off to a different country that was not Russia before the first mobilization order happened and continue to do so. . They have relatives in Ukraine or their summer home is there. There is no anger against Ukraine by common Russian people and vice versa. BABY FACE decided to expand the Russian state to the powerhouse the USSR once was. That forced experiment FAILED. The USSR broke up into 15 different countries, some even joining NATO. Putin wants to bring back the past glory of the USSR.(which relies mainly on the intelligence of Ukrainians.) Russians are generally pig farmers. A 3 watt lightbulb shines brilliantly when you compare the two. Russians are not very bright. It shows in the battles.

  9. "A tree planting" is no such thing. "A wind break" is why the tree & scrub rows exist. Farmers found out that if they only had a field of dirt - wind gusts or storms of just wind will strip the fields of valuable top soil and leave the land barren. Having a wind break "breaks up the wind so valuable topsoil is not lost. All farmers know this. Usually a road runs in between the trees from one plot of land to the next as the breaks may be15/20 feet wide thus not driving on the precious field of grain compressing the dirt. . You have to remember that before a farmer decides on a piece of land to farm, he has to clear it of wild scrub brush & trees & rocks before he can plant. ( now he is tasked with removing metal parts and dead bodies before he can plant. Seems like his job is never done.

  19. I can answer that. Customs is checking for DRUGS, & illegal weapons & raw meat which takes up their time. Otherwise, there is no extra fees imposed by UK customs...as that is already covered by the postage stamp costs. It is a government entity. As for Courier companies, they are private businesses(and they do have a contract with the Postal Corporation & they are not suppose to charge for deliveries either.) The extra inspection for drugs is absorbed by the Postal System. As an investment, the P.O. is a crown corporation(it is meant to lose money)

  20. Also the water has to be at a decent level in order to supply water to the canal that goes to Crimea. Now, it is too low so no water in the canal. Somebody(Russian high command) screwed up and forgot that. That would include drinking water for Servastopol naval base(which is Russian Black Sea port access) The "Logic" of those in command is absent. Yet, no one will be fired which is good as Ukraine needs all the help it can get. Even from Russian high Command.🤣🤣Hydro-electricity is not available now? Oh well.   29. Joining NATO is not a BARTER system. If Russia wants Donbass so badly then they first could have offered to purchase it from Ukraine. But instead, they decide on war to TAKE Kyiv in 3 days. Over a year ago. Russia does not control NATO. Getting the Donbas Ukrainefied is easy. Those that want to be Russian MOVE BACK. If they want to stay in Ukraine, then learn the language, religion, & customs. It is pretty simple.

  32. Bakhmut was the size of a village of 70,000 people. The next town in line has150,000 people, meaning that many more buildings. How many Rus died for Bakhmut? Triple that for the next town, also triple the length of time. Really, I do not think that old Ukrainian woman has enough sunflower seeds for all the dead. It is also different terrain that Ukrainians know well and Rus know ZIP. Rus can't afford this war anymore. . The next town is about the same as this town just different name and different landscape. Kiev is a long way in the distance and there is a few million people, so it is even bigger.(15 times the size of Bakhmut so do basic math. Different terrain, many more high rise buildings much larger and well protected town...you won't get there by winter.

  36. If they get ahold of a whole unexploded HIMARS they CAN and will reverse engineer it. Remember the "SPACE RACE"? Russia too got some "S2" rockets from NAZI Germany(as there were 20 approx. stored in caves. They reverse engineered them (just like the U.S. did with the ones they had) and built a rocket to space FIRST, got a man up there first, sent up a satellite FIRST using GERMAN technology. So, they are capable of dismantling it and reassembling it. Now that risks the wash machine and dryer & bread machine for parts.

  44. Offensive actions lead to the loss of many soldiers compared to the "defensive" position. Ukraine has a limited amount of manpower. Russia is almost unlimited as they could pull people out of Siberia who are Asiatic. or any of the "stan" countries(there is 5 of them) and other parts that still are under the thumb of MOSCOW. Ukraine has Ukrainians and that is it. Fortunately for them they know the terrain and can read both Ukrainian or Russian signs and then find it on a map.
