  3. You are making up a story. My mom is Polish. Hitler was very helpful , saying they needed to bake bread and then dry it and put in sacks.(Bread does not go moldy when it is dried out) The Germans left my mom(who was 15 alone and her mother and mothers sister) Soldiers coming back from Russia were in a sorry state, torn clothes and missing limbs. They asked for food and my Mom's Mom had nothing to give them. They were so hungry they cut a thin slice off of the horse's rear leg up near the backbone and ate that RAW. They then put some grass on the cut to sop up the blood so it would stop bleeding. The horse was needed as it was my mom's mom transportation as it pulled a wagon. My Mom is 90 yo and still driving a car. Her memory is very vivid for the little she saw of Auschwitz) but after showing their papers were shooed away.(As they had a German sounding name & Hitler relied on German voters to vote for the NAZI PARTY. That is how they sorted in the beginning as only German's vote in German elections. My mom recalls seeing the ovens. She had already been in the powder showers where Zyklon B came out. It was a pesticide to kill head lice. The German guard said "Unsein" which means get dressed and "Gates veck" meaning go away and "schnell" which in German means quickly. . The family is Polish speaking so no German words were understood (so I am guessing a lot of hand talking happened)& pointing fingers so they knew what to do. . Germans were still people so they know that there are different languages near by...such as Ukrainian & Russian & Polish & French. The Germans were new to the war too.
