  4. People were still lighting campfires. "Doh" It is a forest fire. They happen. Nothing you can do in the face of it, except RUN. Your life is more important than any "stuff". You can always rebuild. Dead people can't. Dead people also don't report loss to INSURANCE Companies. Some will have a house up before the snow flies. After a normal winter of +5 feet of snow new greenery will spring up in the forests...give it 3 years and you will not know a fire was there. Actually not much different than Hawaii and the fast growing bamboo.
