Well, that kind of explains why the men are not shown(they haven't done anything special) sure some win a gold but not in record time. They got the gold because they were faster than the rest, that is all. I am guessing that is the reason. The broadcasters there make the decisions. Considering men are competing too. This is suppose to be "LIVE" and it ain't. I guess we got to wait till most of the "floaters" are gone to decide the Seine River is safe to swim in. The Seine like any river is a large toilet. So is the Thames in England and any large river. Humans are so short-sighted. It is never done in any river on Melmak.(Alf's home turf) Maybe they should filter the seine with fine screens.? I am guessing that is what is going on(otherwise I do not know for sure)
