I did some reading on nuclear reactors & stuff. The radioactive stuff is like 5% and a nuclear bomb is 99% of U235 isotope. Most uranium is U238 isotope.

How long its serviceable life? With the tech we know today? 2000 meters into solid granite. It is a distance you are not going to get to by shovel. Then their landfill will be put deep underground to make oil(eventually)

I am missing the difference? Chances are good they did check the land where the reactor sits and it intersects the water table, or the land is a gravel bed. Not solid dry granite(no water table floods the cavern).

BECAUSE it is UNDEVELOPED meaning land purchased there is cheaper than downtown Toronto. The soil conditions have to be right(meaning no water table) so no well water get contaminated....or streams or lakes.
