Now that 2 AWAX planes were shot out of the air and the 3rd destroyed on a Runway; Russia only had 5 & ground radar stations are also destroyed and Ukraine is taking out Sukhoi jets (even their latest and greatest) and the weather is decent(not winter) so runways are being repaired to handle the frail nose landing system. We are just waiting for the paint to dry.

It is number one because of the land mass. How it distributes it is a different matter. Their tractors are up-to-date machines. It is government controlled so most money it earns go to the military (most likely.) Its people are the last in line to get food....definitely no wheat profits - or an upgrade in farm equipment...or fertilizer. Most of their wheat go to China....for ($oligarchs need a new yacht don'tchaknow?) Google it instead of making up stories. Roads are just trails and cars are not important. Tractors are.   41. I have known European farmers in Australia, (Polish)that have been there since 1951. They had a TV and no newspaper so, they just farmed. World new is irrelevant. Yes they had electricity and the telephone. Their neighbors were far away AND they too were farmers (maybe British). Out in the country you were busy planting wheat crops or shearing sheep or repairing equipment or raising chickens or something else done on a farm. Politics is the furthest from your mind. My uncle had a medium size farm of 6,000ha and a rental home which they rented out - for additional income. He also raised pigs for additional income, and orange trees for additional income and they had chickens for the eggs mainly for additional income. This was their life. It is not a rich life, just comfortable for farmers. His education was about Grade 6 (in Poland) then he left Poland after WW2 so had to learn to speak English. Politics is the farthest from any farmers mind. Making a living off the land is #1 . It just seems to me that people in Russia just survive from one day to the next. Politics is not FRONT & CENTER on their mind either. AND then it is Australian News and no where else. 1500 miles will be exceeded. It is a competition sport now.

That stuff matters as Polish farmers have only one market to sell to & Ukraine was not their competition. Ukraine wheat grain is subsidized by Ukrainian government which is unfair. Undercutting your neighbor with cheaper grain is the problem. The market is so small. I thought they would have ironed that out. Guess not. In normal times, they would have not clashed.

  46. Hey Anna. I have Google earth open And CC on Youtube. It can't spell some of the places. In the middle of a mountain range is no place for a ship. You Tube is English so it tries but not all the time am I lucky. Maybe if you had a map up on the wall, you could show us where they went- - I am getting someplace down in India which is a hell of a long ways away. Russian geography is good if Google Earth had the correct spelling or if you can show quickly on a map where they are. Use a pointer stick like in school. It is a tangled web as I understand...the U.S. is stopping Britain & France from using their cruise missiles (Storm shadow & Scalp). If the U.S. is not participating in a European war, then they essentially have no say how and when Britain & France utilize those tools. Like in WW2 against Germany. The U.S. tried to remain an isolated country from that war, and Japan was expanding its reach to knock out the U.S. as it was interfering with Japan/China relations. That is why the hit on Pearl Harbor. Japan only had issue with the U.S. siding with China and what Japan wanted was some mainland land (I believe I remember correctly) The planes that flew from Japan were completely gutted so they could carry more fuel as it was a one way flight. Their target was the aircraft carriers...on that particular day none were docked as they were conducting naval exercises somewhere on the ocean. The Japanese pilots only one bomb and they did a Kamikaze thing to make sure their bomb hit the target (which were destroyers and lesser ships. The luck was on the side of the U.S. as their ships were somewhere else and the ocean is big. The Japanese planes could not look for them as they had just enough fuel to get to Midway, so the destruction they did was not that much as a destroyer class(you would need 5 to equal one aircraft carrier. . did the Warsaw pact allow for joining of Korea or China? . This had nothing to do with Hitler. It just happened to be happening at this time.   155. You want away from those commercials. Then Google "Browsers without ads" I picked one, downloaded it and installed it and am using it for 2 months(or years). Ads on Firefox were so bad that it is unwatchable....mainly because I am not interested in the product because it comes from another country and I don't need it. I chose a browser that has no home page, so it forgets everything. However, I can have numerous windows open at the same time and should it crash because of a power outage; I just need to open that browser and go to the 3horiontal bars up near the VPN in upper right hand corner, click on the bars and go to history. The pc noticed it was not shut down correctly and asks if you want to restore where you last were. Sometimes I have 10 windows open, so I pick the one I know I was there and bam I am there. I bravely asked myself did I get a computer just to watch T.V. ads or not. So far, you tube has not complained about the ad blocking software in the browser.(they worked out some kind of deal) If a site promotes a product it is the site that is actually doing it, not a 3rd,4th,5th party wanting to sell shhit. You can only try it to see if you like that. I have watched 6 hour movies without a break for commercials. When you start with the new browser, it does not know the web sites you like. It does know what YouTube is so, you are off to the races. I have never gone back to Firefox, the worst is Google Chrome, I.E. is useless. As far as I know, 18 was old enough to be accepted as a trooper to enter into the WAR. 1940 is before my existence so I can only read the stories from survivors of WW2.(or WW1) .. NK shells were from the time of STALIN & were rusty(improper storage) EACH shell was tested=5 out of 5 FAILURES. None shot out. That failure rate is 100%. More of a danger to the Russians conscripts.   305. Increase the "font" size on your computer. You first could try (on Microsoft machines) is to hold down the "Ctrl key steady and then press on the + key a couple of taps. That will increase the (magnification) up to 300 times. Mine is always set to 125% larger so I don't need glasses to read it. . When you want to make it smaller - steady press the Control key and tap on the - sign(right beside the 0) on the keyboard and the print gets smaller in size. The picture or diagram is also larger in size so the lower slider bar appears so you can see the image. This is the easiest way seeing you can still "see" to read about him. At 100%, 8 font is too small for me to read comfortably. Anna is Ukrainian. It is hard enough for her to speak English.(she catches herself when the word is difficult.) As she is fluent in Ukrainian & Russian & pretty good in English.(but she had to teach herself that). Asking more from her is a bit much. . As for setting the font, I do not know how to do that, so I would Google it.
