  2. Russia "was attacking essentially "its FRONT LINE TROOPS"(the ones who ACTUALLY "FOUGHT" AGAINST the Germans & NAZISM. While the original troops are +80years old...they remember and they still have the "killer attitude" it is in their genes as they pass it on to the kids(and teach them the same). ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. Russian politicians can't hold a candle to these guys/gals. Politicians just mouth words but NEVER HAD TO KILL (A BIG DIFFERENCE) Now that battle is done and won, Ukrainians decided to become farmers (which means the BATTLE IS NEVER OVER as farmers have so many pests to deal with ( be it plant diseases like RUST, insects plagues(Locusts and the like,), Kangaroos eating up an entire field in a night of young shoots - (OK. I was in Australia for a couple of years),- so different but the same) fires, lack of rain or good weather.& harvesting WHEN IT IS TIME TO HARVEST before the seed sprouts in the stalk head. Meaning farm equipment had to be repaired and maintained and ready to go. Not much time to lay back and "drink a couple of cold ones." I knew Russia will be a HELL OF A FIGHT & WILL NOT TAKE UKRAINE that easily. Definitely not in 4 days.
