  1.  @seraphthegatekeeper  trucks, tanks and ammo is just stuff which "still needs to be manned" The Russian WINTER destroyed the Germans who were dressed in their "Autumn Casual clothing" as HITLER figured it would be over before December. Germans were not dressed for -40 weather as even the lube in the rifle froze up...making the gun useless. The Russians had lube that worked in such cold temps so their equipment worked just fine. The Russians had more tanks except they were at the other end of the country so by the time they were collected and put on a train as the railway goes from China to Moscow indirectly, it would take a while. Russia had Armament factories all over the country so to bring it to one point takes time. The Lend Lease program was faster. Speed was the need.

  2. Politics come in many flavors. ( or mixture of flavours.) There is Communist(EXTREME RIGHT), then Socialism in its pure form (which no country has-as they apply some form of exceptionalism to themselves) the rest shall suffer in the system "except us & our buddies." Russia has rich billionaires so it is not the Marx/Lenin policy of wealth spread out equally. Royalty still exists there. . There are countries that have Democratic Socialism(the Baltic countries & Denmark) & Germany has that and have a better standard of living than in the U.S. as all people pay taxes to the government and then the government doles out money to various entities as needed by the communities. Emergency services such as Forest fire protection is a gov't run operation. Hospitals are funded by the government.(be it federal or civic or both) The people got taxed and part of that "kitty" funds medical services. Free enterprize still happens, as they must pay taxes and WCB and UIC and welfare. Their donation is in the pennies as taxes befall all income earners. . Then there is Capitalism. . What the U.S. has right now is HARSH CAPITALISM. (while the rich embrace the socialism that exists in the U.S. and use it to make themselves RICHER....the average U.S. citizen is believing in Capitalism & practicing that hoping to get rich. That will never happen for them because they are in the wrong social circles. It is much more in depth than I went here. Grab a book or 20 and you will be informed. . Still, politics is just an OPINION of how things should work. Everyone who is a free thinker has their own opinion. I can live my life WITHOUT POLITICS and not miss it for a second. You do what is right "it is built in you" to aid someone in trouble or hurt. This compassion is part of socialism for you need to be a contributing part of a society for who is going to look after you when hard times come your way? A "me, me, me, only me attitude" will bite you in the asss.

  3. My dad said "if you want to see poor people, go to the U.S.". That said it all, so I never visit. Much of the TV shows rely on Donations (or other peoples money) or sponsorships.
