Dufus does not have a name WORTH REMEMBERING. Henry FORD built the FORD MODEL T(innovative because it was built on a production line in a factory) & most of the other Car inventors/makers named it after themselves. The Muskmobile or the Elon electric is the name a self centered inventor would use to name his OWN VEHICLE. Not take the name of an true inventor(long time dead) and use that. Nickolas Tesla invented AC power the same time Edison was playing with DC power. They did not see eye to eye. Edison stole his lightbulb idea from the British when they were working with the ARC lamp. Ed...put a filament in it and the screw the light bulb uses is called the Edison screw and then he patented that. Inventors put their name on their inventions. Musk has not invented anything. The battery was already invented and the electric car was made before the gas car was built. (Battery tech in those days was lead/acid batteries in a wooden box.) Plastic was not invented yet(which is non reactive to acids). There were more electric cars than gasoline cars in the early days. Check out Leno's Garage as he has an electric that still works. . Tesla car? I would never buy it because I believe in the right to repair it myself. So will wait for a real car manufacturer to make an electric(yes, even from China)
