He puts his m$ on the language so now it is msDOS. Excel spread sheet is EXACTLY LIKE "123LOTUS" (a program made before the existence of microsoft) Word processing programs are written by many and m$ chose one to name it "msWord". Most people do not know that as they are forced to accept what Windows present them and they have no idea how to find out about other "browsers, other word processing programs, other music players, other image viewers, other email boxes, etc. "WiMP" is "Windows Media Player"(Windows is made by MS), but there are others programs that do the same job or better & many are free. People go for convenience over "best" or better than "Wimp". Because it is included in the Windows program, people just accept it as the only one available. BG is not about to tell them how to work their computer-which is why there are classes in schools or night schools. Warren Buffet is self made because he worked his way up. He used his knowledge to decide which stocks to own for the long haul.

Henry Ford who started the FORD line went with his name on it. Louis Chevrolet started CHEVROLET;Walter P. Chrysler =CHRYSLER;Founded as the Dodge Brothers Company machine shop (which predates Chrysler.); Toyota=Kiichiro Toyoda; Bugatti=Italian-born industrial designer Ettore Bugatti designed the French car; Porsche name is on anything Porsche designed/built as these guys are PROUD of what they built. It is their claim to fame. 4 almost any other car maker. Maybe Musk is trying to hide behind the name of an inventor(long time dead)for his cars(for legal reasons) as he never invented anything for. . Self driving trucks have been in use in mining activities, and with screen controls exactly like what is in the Model S or any other model. That is tech from the 70's. I have a friend that worked driving a +300Ton ore truck "fully electric" for years. Musk took the known tech and put it into a car. The Li battery is not his invention...or regen braking. He never invented the wheel. . What he did was basically a "legal-GRIFT" He obtains the money FIRST and shows up with the goods later(hopefully) You have given the cash with a promise there will be a car for you. The car when it does come is not "that great on quality" . So many people were willing to risk their money on "Muskies" dream...that he has branched out into other areas that have been invented by others - he just slapped it together with much Hype and Carnival barker type selling techniques. . He lives on a dream. Most other kids get slapped in the face and told to get back to work shoveling schit from the barn.
