What stuck in my head is that T* was never a billionaire. He was low on cash and a TV network suggested he be a Reality Star. (That is what saved him from being a HOBO, He considered it and wanted to have editing ability before any show went on the air(so he could make corrections) The network agreed so he read the entire script before it was released. One of the writers wrote down he was a Billionaire on the opening blurb. DT liked that sound of being called a Billionaire and he left it alone as being true. T* never was a billionaire (at most he had $660Million)(which is a lot) but nowhere near the 3.3B he claimed he had and he never turned in a tax form for years. "He" assessed his properties and buildings himself.[ That by itself is something the government does with "their assessors and tell you what the building & land is worth. T* was assessing his signs with his name on it at a million$ for a plywood sign. He had casino's (2) and he lost money at both of them. Where the "house" always wins, he lost. Golf courses used to be named something else, until T* bought them, then they were more valuable. He hired illegals to work on them, so you know the wages were not good. The hotels were bought & renamed and the wages in there were minimum wage. He tried to start an airline and it flopped. . Where did he get all this money? Inheritance that he screwed other family members from their fair share. He got the $660 million that way and avoided paying inheritance tax from his dad, Fred Trump. All he knew how to do was blow it with bad investments and having lots of low level lawyers. His write offs were questionable, so he had a decent accountant (who is serving time in prison for falsifying documents so the cons and grifts continued to work in their favor. .
