Of course they could make the car sound better...strap on some speakers and play sounds from a dragster or a car with open headers. Of course you think DRILLING FOR OIL goes straight into the car? You missed the distilling process of the refineries. There is a lot of energy used there. Also the shipping of oil from Arabia over the ocean to the refineries in N.A.. Also the cost of the making of the pipe for the pipelines...and so much more I could list but you KNOW YOU MISSED STUFF. Factor in those costs and it may be even that much better for EV.
