  1. I was there for 2 years500 miles inland from Sydney, so farming country. I saw Emus occasionally, maybe 2 rabbits, not deep into Australia to see camels, no foxes, no dingoes, no mice(this was before the big fires), You would starve...relying on hunting. Just the way it is.

  2.  @IrishRebel88  When I fish and catch suckerfish or carp (I understand they both are bottom feeders) lets of bones and almost not worth retrieving the hook so leave the fish attached on the line for hours and then drag it out of the water and slap the fish on the ground, hoping to dislodge the hook. Maybe I do it for half an hour(either I get the hook back or not) 2 hours later the freaking fish is still alive if you put it in a tub of water it swims away. . Anyways, Koi are orange colored Carp. Some people will pay $1000 for the fish for their pond. These fish are very attractive to look at (with splotches of Orange, black and white) and just as hard to kill. They can live in a sewage drain pipe(4"diameter stuck into the ground like a post- so upright) summer & winter with Ice and snow and be alive next year. Hell, the cat won't eat carp. or Koi or sucker....but is OKAY with Tuna, whitefish, trout, salmon. Perhaps they know Carp will eat them.?

They were introduced at a later time. Farmers are highly creative and industrious. That is not from sand erosion. It is definitely from water. As it is the Sahara desert, when was there that much water? The Younger Dryas which is about 10,500-11,000 years ago. This would be the melting of the Artic ice that would raise the water levels that much. So, the Sphinx is much older than the Pyramids carved out by a different civilization as a Lion (later recarved by the Egyptians to one of their Pharaohs, though we have not found a matching face yet.

  5. Not true. Saqqara is not near the Nile and that is where the FIRST stone pyramid was built. The creek is a ways away. Before the Step pyramid, the earlier Pharaohs were buried under Mastabas(which is essentially taking the headstone and laying it flat as they were 1 step high and made out of mud brick. When dude died, they dug down in the middle of the Mastabas about 70 to 95 feet and placed the body down there. I guess he never washed so he so stinky alive, only worse when he dead....so bury him deep so dog don't dig him up, idea. Type in Saqqara, Egypt on Google maps and you see no water.

  6.  @catsooey  The first couple of pyramids were either SANDSTONE or LIMESTONE(aka chalk) You can carve them up with primitive stone tools . Sticks not available because of termites. Drag technology has been around since Fred Flintstone & Barney Rubble.

  11. They did not have oil lamps. They had torches dipped in goat fat. I tried the wax candle and run the finger through the flame and salt did not decrease the amount of soot on the fingers. I did not try baking soda (aka natron) nor did I have goat fat. They figured it out whatever they used.
