I was on my Uncles farm and he had orange trees. Sometimes the oranges stay on the tree several years. Now pluck one off the tree on a hot summer day(100F) and bite into the fermenting fruit. Hot orange liquor. There is no comparison. Wicked good. I am wondering if they do the same thing with apple juice as I live right beside a Juice maker in an apple valley. Is the flavour packet harmful to us when consumed? I did prefer artificial Maple syrup over real maple syrup...because there was more flavor.

It is clay mud which is different from dirt mud...or sand mud.

@funbigly The increase in fuel prices is due to Wall Street shorting the stock prices on oil so the price increases and the stock exchange makes huge amounts of money...on a fuel shortage that DOES NOT EXIST. In other words the gas stations are raising the price because they all work together for BIG OIL. When it is a Monopoly, & in demand, you (Big Oil) can do what you want. They did it before and they are doing it again.

If I am alive, I can be happy. Dead, not so much. Stuff is STUFF. Alive people can replace it. Dead, not so much.

What I have heard is that rain came down in China so much it flooded the streets under 3 feet of water. AND it is in Nova Scotia and raining pretty good there. August in the Okanagan is the dry month- rains quite often in June & July normally. This year I remember one short shower since Apr27 so essentially nothing this year.
3
Not everyone lives IN THE CITY so that means they were at work and have to rush home to get their stuff and then get out. 2 ways is necessary for that

@wwright8127 I been to the U.S. and my picture driver's license used to be enough. She had a picture Driver's license. I think the cop was a forgery.

Being TRAINED for forest fires is DIFFERENT than structural fire fighting. One can call in waterbombers and helicopters. The other can't and has to rely on the fire truck and fire hydrant. One supersedes the other in available equipment. A small helicopter can drop 1 1/2ton US of water on you (you don't want to be under that for it will snap your head off like a twig. Most lakes are small, except the one in the background. It will take a bomber to fly in and out holding 5000liters of water(1250 gallons U.S.150Tons) which is just a spitball.) It takes 10 seconds to load and 1 second to dump. Showing you how much water it takes coming out of the sky. Because after a rainstorm, the firefighters still have to go back and look for hot spots like burning roots. So it could be days with pick and shovel.

But still "toast", eh? Or a "pop top" tank.A hydrogen filled NLAW balloon should fly over the tanks "keeping it real"

@jiggycalzone8585 WHY give him a better life in prison than he has at home? Let him suffer and pay taxes. meaning he has to WORK.
3
@suzycreamcheesez4371 with resellers, you don't know where the schit comes from or how safe it is. They may be getting it from a country where DDT is still in use. Here today, gone tomorrow.
3
I kind of wonder why there are no fires where war is happening?

@TheAmbex I "believe the mindset of the Alberta government was NOT to GIVE A HAND OUT. The cold weather will drive them out of province, thus not burdening the Social Services(which is provincial funding). . Chrystia Freeland is working for Federal Government...so not involved. Besides that our Leopard tanks are old tech, past due date, and are sent out to the Cold Lake Military Base to be used as "target practice" I believe I read that somewhere. ( Not that Canada builds any tanks of their own.) It is not in Canada's military policy to build offensive weapons. A Curved maple hockey stick is as far as Canada will go. (again, I believe that is the case.)

There is a silver lining. Once all the dry kindling has been burnt, there is nothing to burn anymore. Always got to rely on Mother Nature to rain on the fires to put them out. I guess we all got to expect to be in the path of a fire ONCE in your life.

Poland started WW2, egged on by Churchill. It is in the history books or on Google.

Much of the time it is Lightning in a remote area. Most of the time it fizzles out to a nothing burger.(Because the tree was green and the undergrowth green) . But, there are times when conditions are right like it starting in a valley of a park that is left to nature to grow as it would normally and the wind is lightly blowing up the valley of dried out pines and bramble and this is a perfect starter. Usually fires like this are not in inhabited areas. so it burns for awhile until the rains come and put it out. Fires are so big a few piddly waterbombers will not put it out. They also need airports to land their plane and refuel. All of a sudden the air traffic controllers are busy...between domestic flights, private flights, & water bombers. Everyone is going to experience a forest fire in their lives someday if trees grow around them. I have been near enough to one to be ousted out of my house(10 years ago)Will not expect that section of forest to go up again in my lifetime(another 25 years) . I was up in the Yukon and the trees are kind of spindly. Not a lot of rain. So Yellowknife, NWT, Canada has a town (use Google Earth) & Hay River,NWT, Canada is another settlement.

Lightning is the reason, so GOD is the arsonist.

Real farmers do not have the time to stand around at farmer's markets. If they got produce they sell it from the end of their driveway. You are there at the farm, and can smell the fertilizer and dirt. They are all different sizes and shapes . Not uniform at all. Sort of like what I grow in my back yard. When it is in season, I know. And no, we got no bananas. Banana peppers yes.
2
@MichaelFrankowiak I see TOURISTS in my town from EVERY STATE out of the U.S.. They can drive over the border (California, Texas, Florida, Georgia) This cop was very ignorant and they gave her a gun? That is nuts.
2
IMO it is the Catholic Church that knows about the residential grave sites. They have the money so they should pay archeologists to do the scanning with "ground penetrating radar". Government is there to charge them with a crime.

one is British and the other Canadian

Biden is in a second time.(going by historical records) Donny ALWAYS WAS A 1 trick pony(one term) Him crying about losing makes him a REAL LOSER.
2
Jesus did not know that this part of the planet existed.
2
Only if he can GRIFT money off of it.
2
Unrealistic. Have you not HEARD OF FLYING EMBERS? After the FIRESTORM of 2003 I was seeing glowing embers of bark off of pine trees land on my rooftop and they were the size of 25 cent pieces and I lived 5 miles away from the edge of the fire. So it just had to land in dry grass and poof it was on fire. - The people of California KNOW IT WAS NOT JEWISH SPACE LASERS. They been there, they experienced the same thing.
2
Yeah, that will be something the government of Canada will be looking into later on, cuz that is not the "Canadian way"
2
@razorb4ck Canada does not have a "motherland" It has a "hinterland"
2
You forget the fleet of Canadian Tugboats pulling Canoes?
2
your translation is spot on.
2
Nothing different. It was a lousy year this year. It will still happen because the PEOPLE WHO ATTENDED IT OWN IT.
2
It is a brush fire. Brush is low lying, maybe 4 feet in height. So house is within reach.

@KL-rd9tg The grocery stores will put up with the "true farmer's market as that is usually a small time operation and seasonal". When it gets to be resellers, that is a different story because they do not have the food safety standards to adhere to, nor the "overhead cost-staff, heat, light, refrigeration, insurance that a big grocer has to endure and that cuts into their bottom line as they cannot sell the at the normal volume because of the guy out in the parking lot who pays almost nothing for overhead and is selling the same product. Lower volume in sales means the cost rise...to make up the difference. Resellers are taking advantage that was suppose to be ONLY the farmer's advantage.

Basically heavily armored ambulances. If Ukraine want to mount a missile launcher atop of them, they can. Canada won't arm them.
2
I see it and forgot it . It is irrelevant info to me.
1
Really? Soldiers have a choice...Parade or Ukraine front lines. Tanks are owned by the president. So are the jets. So a basically FREE SHOW
1
Are you planning to steal an election and steal classified documents? Yeah, they would come after you too.
1
I won't be taking it right off the bat. Want to be sure it is safe. I can mask it for awhile. My hands are really clean too.

@gravismushnick3812 2 entirely different departments. (in different buildings even.)Each has their own budget.

The land is always worth something and a new town can be built there. It has happened many times before mainly because we are not sitting on a volcano. We are just waiting for the Continental shelf to break off and sink into the sea, then WE HAVE OCEAN FRONT PROPERTIES. @jasonstrong9974
1
Military aid is STUFF we already made years ago and is sitting in warehouses not used. We don't benefit from it sitting in warehouses because we hopefully won't be in a war in the foreseeable future.

I never could be a minister. I am too honest and my replies would be more direct and BLUNT. None of this weaseling out of answering a direct question that is "SO PLAINLY SIMPLE." I do not believe the minister would be stepping out of line by saying the ACCORD states it is Germany that has the final "SAY" about supplying German made tanks to Ukraine. That policy encompasses ALL LEOPARD tanks (made, no matter which country had them). IF the signatory decision makers made it at THAT TIME then they are BOUND TO IT. (unless there is a "release agreement made by Germany" in case of unforeseen circumstances. . I understand this is an unforeseen circumstance and GERMANY is being "flexible" in allowing other countries to ship their Leopard tanks(such as Poland) Canada has some too, but Canadian policy is to never ship weapons. . Canadian armored vehicles = heavy duty ambulances. If Ukraine wants to mount a cannon or machine gun on top of it, they can.

Installers can't assess the air quality. No different than a Painter. They smell the product every day so they don't notice the paint smell. Or the septic tank cleaners...it is an odor you get used to. I am wondering that in my home the attic is a cold space with ventalation to the outside...so how does the smell get inside? Drywall and a poly vapor barrier would be in the way= no odor inside the home.
1
@tanbir11 I choose what I like the look of ON ME. Don't care where it comes from. Somebody twisted up that "style" and that is what I buy.
1
Can't compare to Quebec. Quebec has some special deal on everything. I am ignorant of how the equalization payments work(and not really that interested)
1
That is not a bad thing. Construction costs so much these days and contractors are busy even with outrageous housing costs. H4H is an organization that buys older buildings and renovates them to new standards. Still done cheaper than knocking it down and rebuilding a single level dwelling where the 3 storey dwelling is. Maybe in an older part of town.

When it comes to saving YOUR LIFE over STUFF, your life is more important than stuff you have insured(or can replace because you are still ALIVE). DEAD people have no desires. Fire is not just simple burning of trees, it also burns all the oxygen in the air so you suffocate. The dog & CAT knew when to split, but not you? Education failed you.
