That is why they do CONTACT TRACING. Whoever you came into contact with will have caught the disease. Or if you touched a surface then they got to clean the surfaces. The "vote worker" finds your name on a print sheet of all the eligible voters in your area....their name is on the sheet and you present your voter card you got in the mail AND ADDITIONAL VOTER ID. You are stroked off the list and are given a ballot with a tracking number. They mark down the tracking number on a different sheet. You go to booth and make your SELECTION with an X beside your chosen candidate. Then the paper is folded closed so the tracking number is exposed. This number is torn off and put into one box. Your folded ballot YOU put into another box. There is no way to identify the voter at all at this point. The votes are hand counted. Those that vote for the same candidate will look IDENTICAL(or duplicate). Makes for easier counting. . Many people decided to get involved this time(that didn't the last time..as the Democrats saw that HC was the only politician so she should have won in a LANDSLIDE.) Many did not bother to vote. It was one of the lower turnouts in participation in an federal election.(est.64%) That is how "orange dough-boy" got in...more Republicans showed up to vote. 4 years LATER and the DEMS. is taking nothing for granted. Not even a deadly virus is going to stop them from voting. Many requested the mail in ballot option. Their mind is already made up, or they voted in advanced voting booths. Voting participation was closer to 86%(73,400 additional votes)> and you are bitchin about 317,000?because of ghost mail votes(whatever that means?) Blame DeJoy for slowing down the mail. Some of those mail in ballots could have been for "Diaper Don" You just don't know and if they be stamped (date and time) to be within the vote window, it does not matter when they are found. They STILL COUNT AS A VALID VOTE. . As for electronic devices used as part of the voting machine hardware is not to be touched outside of the Elections office. UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY NEW VOTING MACHINES (to the tune of a few million dollars to replace all the machines.) As they must be new machines, not touched by commoners. Only "CERTIFIED ELECTIONS PEOPLE" otherwise the machines have been tampered with. . The vote was not close enough to justify an official recount(had it been as close as a 200 or 300 difference then an official recount happens. But when it is greater than that, there is no need. Officially he was the LOSER. Democracy is a bbitch.
