VW air cooled engines also had a Long stroke. It gives lower RPM but higher Torque. When you get more torque you lose in horsepower. That is the trade off. The engine also lasted over 100,000 miles But it only burned gasoline(am doubting kerosene) though I have never tried it. Kerosene is cold weather replacement for diesel as they are close to the same in lubrication quality and kero does not get sludgy and freeze in the fuel line from the tank to the engine. Which is why kerosene is used in jet planes.

It SEEMS like millions of miles but everything wears out. Still some that have never been rebuilt as they now get towed on a trailer from exhibition to exhibition.

5 digits were used on all cars. After all when it got to 99,999 the next mile would show as 00000 or brand new. Logic tells you that this car has been driven...as it is a used car....or they bought a new speedometer...for some reason. - just because the horse has a new saddle does not mean it has not seen the miles over 15 years.

Farmers usually shoot the horse when it is at that stage.

Gasoline is still gasoline. Additives are infinitesimally small amounts. The car will run on lawnmower gas.

That tells me nothing. Car manufacturers USED the larger gallon that was Imperial which is 4.55L U.S. gallon is 3.7L(so a quart less) They did not have to tell the public and it took awhile to figure out what they were doing.(all legal) but a Liter is a litre is a liter There is only ONE size 1000ml per liter. Fuel economy was taking a car out onto a track and make it drive500 miles to figure out that number...overcoming rolling resistance, wind resistance and other forms of friction. . Now they put one wheel on a dyno and figure out fuel consumption inside a shop, so no wind on the body, and the rolling resistance of the other 3 wheels is not a factor, etc. So, they are still cheating us with lies. & they all do it.

I understand gas going in the carb but kerosene?Kerosene is closer to diesel than it is to gasoline.

Ford did not invent the engine..that happened in Britain or France...Google it. Ford created the first assembly line for automobiles...the original assembly line has to go to Ancient Egypt during the Pyramid days. Even the Maya predate Ford with their pyramid construction Back in the days of cars, they were built in horse stables. One at a time. by many stable owners. But one at a time means it takes longer so costs more.

The electric motor has not changed since BEFORE the ICE so some principles cannot change. Wheels are still wheels. Gravity is gravity. The heavier you are the more power you need to move up a hill.(hills exist)
1
Then explain it to the 5billion motorcycle owners, 6 billion gas lawn mower owners and other stationary engines that use gravity feed. You can't because gravity is everywhere...so super reliable. Mount the tank higher and it is gravity feed.

Ford did not invent the IC engine. It was done back in England or France or Germany Google it.
1
ICE engines were invented first in Britain & France. Google it.

Low Fuel octane has NOTHING TO DO WITH low compression
1
The reason none exist is because people push the limits.
1
If it burns then any gas engine can handle it.

Citroen is French for LEMON?

Back in that day, a hammer and a forge and a file is about all the tools that were around. No machine shops.

Elon Musk did not invent ANYTHING. Electric motors existed in cars before the Model T. The battery was a relatively new invention, the first ones being in wooden boxes. Acid ate through the wooden box fairly quick and it was 6 volts...for a long time...even when they invented the plastic box for the lead plates, it was still 6 volt up into the mid 60's. Then the flip over to 12 v. for most cars...some hung onto the 6 volt system so you had to make sure you knew what the voltage was on the vehicle you were jump starting. 6 & 12 is two different voltages. Which is why there is 2 different settings on a battery charger. . Bill Gates also did not invent anything on his own. Google is there to check him out.
