I think so too. But I don't know how easy it would be to start this as a niche before outgrowing the PKI, since websites need the browser's trust. I understand Rob is planning a video about how he would change the PKI, so I'm waiting for that.

That's why quantum noise is silence at the same time.
1
@MadCowMusic Did I say anything about myself lol? But now that my ph🤕ne is in hospital, it's because g👀 has my data somewhere that I can follow Rob... the real world is complicated 🤯
1
Interesting question. By basic logics no, but if someone is aware of a plot twist, I would like to know. Could the news be in the first answer here, that is hidden to me?
1
@linsqopiring6816 yeah, but then your phone carrier is your ISP, or you are using someone else's ISP.
1
This is just a basic, common obfuscation technique, exactly what he said AV can detect. Btw there's no virus in your snippet.
1
@robbraxmantech If one flashes them to PostmarketOS? That's Linux.
1
@robbraxmantech Thank you for answering my noob's question. It's much clearer now.
1
@nedmilburn You can sign up with just a random username and password
1
Log in to your YT account only in Chrome, and watch YouTube in Brave only logged out. That's what Rob call's browser isolation.
1
You have "nothing to hide? OK. Take your clothe off.
1
He's teaching us how to take a tangent trajectory to the wall the world is heading into perpendicularly.
1
Those games are a much bigger issue, with their kernel-level 'anti-cheat' monitoring features.
1
Wow that would be a real 'kill switch'.
1
You're in yet another vault, behind the Wall.
1
A VPN hides your IP, but nothing else. And else is a lot.
1
@paulrun111 Openly?
1
I will.
1
And now, news: Threads will be part of the Fediverse. That instance will be radioactive.
1
@linsqopiring6816 And I suspect 'top comments' censorship to target such suspitions LOL.
1
@Provocateur3 but how is it recorded, from inside the bag?
1
@Provocateur3 If the aggressor is kind enough to tell you he's going to start.
1
Of course it does, but also what you like, your subs, your comments and simply what you skip and don't skip. Seems obvious, though we don't know exactly. Their government classified the algorithm as a national interest level secret.
1
@timtimini7641 That's not it
1
In case of the other scenario (app hates root), it could think you rooted your phone because: 1) it is de-googled, hence not a 'standard Android' (some apps like banking ones only 'trust' normie phones), this would be normal; or 2) it is rooted without your knowledge, this would be concerning. I would check device status in settings.
1
@10.11.9 A case where payment authentification should be enough.
1
@Disabled_fandom But, what is your LibreBoot booting Void Linux upon?
1
@robbraxmantech Is it possible to multiply Let'sEncrypt independent clones and kin so none is irreplaceable?
1
@teresajackson5859 A beep is a notification, isn't it? Did you look in your received notifications, and in your notification settings?
1
@thebrowns5337 If you access anything online, you are using a browser. That's how it works. When you use the "Google" app on your phone, for example, it uses the System WebView, a faceless browser engine that all non-browser apps use to access the Internet. (Same for YouTube, Spotify, your bank...) And links you open use your default browser, even within the app. (I managed to have no default browser, so I have the choice every time.)
1
@thebrowns5337 What do you mean by 'search motor'? A search engine (called "moteur de recherche" in French)? Unless you have the whole index stored at home (a massive data center) you need to send your query to a remote server. Using a browser.
1
Have you watched Rob's videos on i devices, specially those from 5 months ago?
1
@robbraxmantech That's strange, all I can find online is Finland being a massive producer of those! Maybe do they have different packaging/labelling regulations?
1
@50-50_Grind He can just c&p your comment into the description, he only needs to add "0:00 Intro" at the top and there are chapters 👈 @robbraxmantech :)
1
Good. Don't forget to cover it with some non-shiny layer. You can be seen from too far right now.
1
It depends on whether you can unlock the bootloader or not. As far as I know Galaxies are unlockabl in their international versions, but not in their US versions, or at least the option is obfuscated (I have read things like it appearing only a week after the dev options are opened or smthng like that; Idk I'm not in the US). After that you need to find a ROM compatible with your device model. Some Galaxies have them others don't. I'm still looking for one for my A31, although very close models like A32 have them.
1
Don't you have your setup saved on some drive (or in the cloud)?
1
@RetroCaptain Or degoogle it
1
You mentioned Goggles and Meth, but did you forget Bizzos?
1
@terrydaktyllus1320 ofc not deliberately, but who uses external webfonts, integrates easy login with your zucking id, that f, like button, Disqus comment box, etc.? They don't come on their own. I can see a few things that can be done, like self-hosting anything that you can. But I expect Rob to have some extra insight.
1
@robbraxmantech Is VirtualBox trustable, knowing it's from Oracle?
1
@SpaceCadet4Jesus For the IP: you can use a VPN; for browser tracking: you can separate your activities. Are you assuming people who do one random thing always think it solves everything and don't know anything else? And is someone who appears as Space Cadet instead of John Doe paranoid or just reasonable?
1
In this other Rob's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3v6bvqiErWQ&t=419s
1
@robbraxmantech Twitter not a concern?!
1
@practicalthinker5545 Yes, and the background flips, so this part is clearly separated.
1
@Inphinityproductions Everything he said in this video can be found on each app's website. The ranking is from his own reasoning, which he expressed in full words. So as I understand the principle in your comment, I don't see how it applies to this video?
1
It's easy to find on F-Droid.
1
China Uncensored can be expected to be hyperbolic, but I can also imagine the app to be normal for the general pubic, and then be weaponised against specific targets.
1
Irrelevant ads can be so much more entertaining
1
@terrydaktyllus1320 , I agree with you. Just that on yt I often let them flow past when I like the creator (e.g. Rob) because I'm not paying for premium.
