  3.  @thebrowns5337  If you access anything online, you are using a browser. That's how it works. When you use the "Google" app on your phone, for example, it uses the System WebView, a faceless browser engine that all non-browser apps use to access the Internet. (Same for YouTube, Spotify, your bank...) And links you open use your default browser, even within the app. (I managed to have no default browser, so I have the choice every time.)

  4.  @thebrowns5337  What do you mean by 'search motor'? A search engine (called "moteur de recherche" in French)? Unless you have the whole index stored at home (a massive data center) you need to send your query to a remote server. Using a browser.

Are you assuming people who do one random thing always think it solves everything and don't know anything else? And is someone who appears as Space Cadet instead of John Doe paranoid or just reasonable?
