  4.  @dink_diggler  True, but in fairness, most women never get over their first love, their father, who treated her like a princess. I would still not get involved with a single mother; not even a widow, no matter how much compassion I may have for her, especially a widow of a veteran or a cop. A man is nearly always going to play second fiddle to her spawn, and although a guy doesn't have to contend with a baby daddy showing up - though maybe his family - he still is unlikely to have any authority, even when the crotch monkeys are behaving badly. Been there, done that, twice.
