  1. Definitely shows some potential. Not mentioned here are regenerative and counter-current braking (but still, a separate braking system is necessary for safety) and using rotational speed difference for turning - which would make the steering system unnecessary, if proven safe especially in wet and icy conditions. Changing a tire shouldn't be a problem if we stick with the current design of screw-on rims.
