While newspaper or other media, or utility/service subscriptions are okay, scamming people out of money over the stuff they bought is unhinged; I've watched enough Louis Rossmann to know what this world has come to and I'm furious. As a hardware hacker, I'll be more than happy to mod stuff removing the corporate ransomware. Most of the time I just run on old things, they were far more reliable than the disposable modern crap we're swimming in.
