  1. Reminds me of one Bakfiets en Meer (the blog of Henry, founder of WorkCycles) posts about preventing bike theft with a "rust-like" spray paint :) But seriously... I really hate bike thieves, just like I hate abusive drivers. Just how fucked up does one have to be? And the police not giving a flying fuck is probably a thing everywhere, because down here in Poland I had two mountain bikes stolen and of course they were notified and stuff, but the investigation was canceled. On the upside, fun story time: I once had my Sorte Jernhest cargo trike stolen and dumped somewhere in the street. I used my old ID (censored my personal details with a marker) as a spokecard, and that's how the cops managed to reach me and I got it back. After I moved out to a different city, I ride it a lot more :)
