  1. A perfect example of where having lots of money and marketing skills but no spine could take you. The guy who re-invented trains, Space Invaders and (I could argue that) Dyna-Soar or Energia-Buran, and had no qualms about claiming old ideas as his own. Lots of charisma disguised as intelligence, all masking the rotten inside held up by the structures of power he built. A visionary indeed... regurgitating the visions decades old and not yet forgotten. He could talk a scorpion into giving away its sting, and then sell the sting back to said scorpion. It only show how his success relied on the stupidity of all the people he could peddle "his inventions" to. But then, I'm mighty impressed by how his engineers achieved largely recoverable rockets and boosters. This IS the way for the future of spaceflight, lest we drown in a sea of space debris naivety any further missions. I also like the flight suit design on Dragon missions. Pretty sleek.
