  1. I've got a Philips N4420 reel-to-reel recorder and a bunch of Miniwatt vacuum tubes, and had some 2-channel scope. I liked the way they designed electronics back in the '60s...'80s. And cassettes or CDs? Hell, that's how my love for music started. Using a TV to browse the net would be a good idea, it gained some traction with smart TVs but people who were used to do it on PCs or laptops will be reluctant to switch over. "Too big to succeed" may be the case here. A corporate giant moving by sheer inertia, crashing into things. Meh.
