  1. It's a pity that inflation isn't mentioned. Inflation transfers money from the middle class + poor to the rich people too, since the middle and lower classes hold more money in cash whereas the rich hold money in gold, jewelry, art, property and stocks all of which tend to increase in value over time.

  3. The lack of checks on capitalism is the problem, not capitalism per se. Market rules, principles of demand and offer, competition etc are natural principles and as old as history, you can find them in any society and you find analogous principles in evolution (survival of the fittest)
