  2. Imagine you proposed a new James Bond villain as “a president of an autocratic country who was a KGB agent. He has fantasies of reinstating a big empire, he kills his opponents with polonium or novichok and has journalists and oligarchs thrown out of windows”. You’d be criticised that you’re just using stereotypes and making a caricature of Russian people - yet here we are 😂
