  2. I disagree. Causing a wider war was Hamas plan and this is why 7 October was intended to be so atrocious. If they are maximally barbaric they knew a harsh response by Israel would follow and they hoped Israel's response would then prompt other forces in the ME to join the fight

  3. I am really struggling to understand this charge. Isn’t genocide the intentional destruction of a people? Doesn’t Hamas write the annihilation of Israel into their charta? Didn’t they “free” the land on 7 October and promise to keep going? Isn’t it a war crime of Hamas to dress as civilians and operate from civilian areas? I respect criticism against Israel for their conduct of the war, but genocidal intent is something I only saw on 7 October
