  1. A Dragon could have been just an Extinct species of a Flying Reptile.. There were hundreds of Extinct Giant Birds in the History of our Planet.. Most are known as Dinosaurs to us.. Pterosaurs, Pternodons.. etc

  2. One thing I learnt after studying History & Myths are every Myth has a little bit of evidence behind it, Regardless of how silly it sounds. Dragons were probably remnant dinosaurs or Extinct Species of Birds that survived till the recent age. Did you know that a Huge Bird that weighed more than 2 Elephants with a wingspan of more than 30 Feet lived in New Zealand and Australia, till 1300s.. These could have been called Dragons, We can never be sure.

  4. In the 1960s, Scientists discovered the Coelacanth, An Extinct species of Super sized Fish with Armored Scales that were thought to have been extinct 200 Million years ago. After this, How can anyone be sure no species of Dinosaurs have survived to this day ?

  5. There might be some truth to the fact that some creature that was popularly known as "Dragon" might have existed. This is because all Cultures over the world believed in Dragons of one or the other kind. Rarely do you see this kind of evidence. I believe Dragons might have been Remnants of Dinosaurs that survived and lived with us humans. They probably died out a few centuries ago or might still be alive today, we would never know. (Loch Ness monster could be a Dinosaur too, Mosasaurus)

  6. Well, It;s not highly unlike the creature that you mention could have traversed around the globe in a few days.. Like modern birds, They could have possibly migrated to the Middle East and Asia.. You never know..

  7. People tend to forget that the Middle East and Sahara Desert were Lush Swamps and Forests some 3000 - 5000 years ago.. We could never imagine what kind of creatures would have existed in these Habitats.

  8. Dragons come in all shapes and sizes and vary according to the Myths. Asian Dragons are huge snake like creatures with just claws while the Medieval European ones had wings. So it all depends on the various myths.. You just can't straight out say Dragon have wings or not, There are different types of Dragons in each Myth, All over the world.
