  3. The story is probably more than this. It probably went along the lines of the Daughter not wearing her Face veil or something, Hence her "Acid Experience". If you don't know, Women aren't allowed to mingle freely among men in Islamic countries. Pakistan is a Semi Islamic Nation which is experiencing the birth pangs of change with it's Pro Modern Media. Teenagers are normally influenced by the West and this makes their older parents hate the younger generation.

  7. Yes, All Religions have this form of Honor Killings even Hinduism & Sikhism. But Religion has some part to play in making people like this. They did this because they follow the Laws of Islam which do not allow women to mingle freely in the Public. If there had been no such stupid Law, This would not have happened. They are perfectly sane people who know exactly what they are doing but they are brainwashed by Religion, In this case Islam.

Pakistan, Once upon a time when it belonged to the Indian Subcontinent was the center of most learned Universities and Most educated people 1000 years ago, Not just in Asia but probably in the whole world. Being an Indian, I'm sad to see the Glorious & Historical Land of Pakistan to have turned into this. The World's first university and centers of learning, Literature, India's greatest Literary works originated in Taxila, Pakistan. To imagine it would turn this ugly is really saddening to me..
