  1. Being an Indian, I can sympathize with the parents upto an extent but they are still wrong. The main problem is not about parents bringing up their children wrong, its about Indian education system which employs in-efficient teachers that don't teach well.  Children only cheat because they aren't able to learn what their teachers teach them, Kinda sad but that's most often the case (Again, I'm not sympathizing with cheaters, I still think cheating is wrong regardless).

  2. Nick Galbraith Well, Not everyone would end up as lucky as you.. Again, I don't mean to defend the cheaters, I still consider what they did wrong. Just saying that circumstances force people to do desperate things, Like Gandhi once said, Poverty is the worst form of violence.

  4. You do realize that most of India is poor right ? India has exams in English, Which itself is quite hard to learn for poor people who only speak Native Indian languages. So, If the teachers employed are themselves not so well educated and don't teach them properly, Cheating would be the only way to pass your exams. Most poor people in India don't even have electricity at their homes, Many children study under street lights because of Poverty. Under these conditions, Going to school alone is a great accomplishment for the poor.
